Acupuncture
Acupuncture: an ancient treatment that involves balancing the five main forms of vital energy flow through the human body. An imbalance of this energy flow can result in pain or illness. Treatment involves the use of small, thin, sterile needles that are inserted into specific "reflex points" to relieve:
 Pain
 Stress
 Digestive Problems
 Sleep Disorders
 Low Energy
Acupuncture uses a holistic approach that treats the entire patient, not just the affected areas and may include nutritional and exercise guidance. Acupuncturists must complete classroom instruction, participate in an internship, and must pass a comprehensive written and practical exam as well as a class on the commitment to the professional code of ethics. Our participating practitioners have met all of the requirements for licensing and certification to practice in the state of New Mexico.
