 Dental Plans

We have many dental plan options from which to choose:
Our Sandia Plan is a network based referral plan ideal for individuals and groups of all sizes.  Members pay only the fee listed on the Sandia Plan Fee Schedule at the time of service.  Brokers must complete the Sandia Plan Broker Agreement  and appointed to sell this product.

BenefitSource is the General Agent in New Mexico for marketing dental PPO and indemnity products underwritten by Companion Life Insurance Company.  Companion Life has an AM Best Rating A+ (Superior) for 17 consecutive years.  Dental PPO and Indemnity products utilize the BenefitSource dental provider network in New Mexico for in network benefit levels.  Outside of New Mexico, BenefitSource utilizes the nationwide dental provider, DenteMax.  We are able to offer alternate funding arrangements for these insurance products for larger groups.

 Vision Plans

BenefitSource has General Agent arrangements with Superior Vision, Vision Service Plan, Vision Care Direct, Eye Med, and Vision by Design to provide a wide variety of vision programs that range from eye exams, materials – frames and lenses, contact lenses and even savings for laser correction surgery, LASIK.  These plans are available to individuals and companies with as few as 2 employees.

Life, Disability and Medical Gap Insurance

Through General Agent agreements, BenefitSource can provide many options for life and disability insurance underwritten by both Companion Life and Kansas City Life Insurance Company.  These can be bundled with  dental and/or vision plans and are available to companies with as few as two employees.  Most plans may be offered on a voluntary or contributory basis.

Medical Gap Insurance

BenefitSource can provide a Medical Gap insurance plan, underwritten by Companion Life.  The Medical Gap plan helps offset out of pocket expenses for hospital and doctor visits when offered alongside a group’s medical plan.  It allows employers to increase deductibles and coinsurance on the medical plan to reduce premiums, but still provides a competitive benefit package by keeping the employee’s out of pocket expenses manageable.

Work-Site Insurance

Many employers are interested in works-site programs to provide an income stream to offset expenses for specified medical expenses.  BenefitSource can provide quotes for such products as critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident expense insurance underwritten by Assurity.

Value Added Benefits

The Value Added program provides a little extra to BenefitSource members for no additional cost.  Discounts for members are available on the following:

  • Vision Care, Hearing Hardware, and non-medical Home Health Care
  • Chiropractic care and acupuncture
  • Massage therapy,  spa services, and cryotherapy
  • Premiere fitness facilities and personal trainers
  • Life enhancement items:  Discounts for Canyon Club at Four Hills, Dave and Busters, Toltec Brewing, Wigs by Mary Lou, Lyon Auto Spa, and Advanced Prosthetics & Orthotics
